Balazs Simonyisimonyibalazs


Balazs graduated in Literature & Film in Budapest. He has been working as a freelance filmmaker since 2002 and is currently completing his PhD in Art Theory. His films have been screened at world festivals, from Cannes to Clermont-Ferrand, Warsaw and Vancouver. His films has been broadcasted in France, the USA and Japan. He made TV-reportages in Africa supported by Deutsche Welle. He is also organizer of the Budapest Short Film Festival.

Laszlo Jozsajozsalaci


Laszlo studied Communications, Political Science and Anglo-Saxon Culture. He worked as an agency producer on television productions and commercials, also on short films and several documentaries. He has established his own film company SpeakEasyProject and developed a documentary series on the new European mobility titled Leave/Stay. He is also involved in filming social projects and works with a number of NGOs on a pro bono basis. Filming sport races has been their main focus for the past years.

Thomas Ernstthomasernst


Thomas is a film editor, story editor, scriptwriter, post-production supervisor, head of film editing at Budapest Film Academy, tutor for ESoDoc, Verzio DocLab and Docu Rough Cut Boutique Sarajevo. He was born in Cologne, Germany and speaks fluently German, English and Hungarian.

He won the German Camera Award 2015 for Best Editing.
